one amongst many

One Amongst Many is a 6 week multi-disciplinary design project that includes: experience design, installation, physical computing, usability testing, user interviews, visual communication design, and fabrication.

It is a spacial data visualization that represents 16 womxn who have contributed to the history of computing. The three of us all felt distinctly alone in our journey to computing, but there have always been role models to be discovered. This project is our attempt to literally illuminate the histories of womxn in computing that have been diminished or erased.
